We’re finalists in both the AEO and Conference Awards!
After a complete event overhaul for 2019, the Employee Engagement Summit has been nominated for both ‘Best Development of an Existing Conference’ in the Conference Awards and ‘Best Live Event’ in the AEO Awards. This comes after the 2019 event saw twice the number of delegates, twice the number of sponsors and 50% more content after a move to the much larger Riverbank Park Plaza allowed the addition of a third seminar hall.
The transformation of the Employment Engagement Summit – its increased attendance, its improved delegate satisfaction, and the increase in turnover – is testament to our team and our development approach. Not only did we listen to our delegates, we delivered to them a conference that met their needs.
The Customer Engagement Summit has also become a finalist in the ‘UK Conference of the Year’ category in the Conference Awards. Now in its 11th year, the Summit is the largest event of its kind in Europe – but scale isn’t all that makes this event truly unique.
Unlike other conferences in this space, the Customer Engagement Summit believes that customer AND employee engagement are mutually dependent, and gives each topic equal status at the event. By establishing a conference that acknowledges all aspects of engagement, by providing a world-class experience, and by delivering real-world, case-study-led content that arms delegates with applicable knowledge, it’s no surprise that the industry has voted with its feet, the result of which is that in ten years the event has grown from 200 to 1,000+ attendees.
Last but not least, it’s the team behind the conferences that has also been nominated in the Conference Awards, with the Engage Business Media team being recognised in the ‘Best Operations Team – Events’ category. While being described as a ‘boutique’ events company (which is a polite way of saying ‘small’), the operations team at Engage Business Media continually punches well above its weight-class to deliver ten high-quality events each year which our delegates agree are a cut above those offered by much larger events companies.
The ground-breaking events we have delivered demonstrates the innovation, excellence, organisational skills of the team. Our achievements include growing our portfolio of events from 2 conferences and 5 small forum meetings in 2015 collectively welcoming 800 delegates, to 10 events collectively welcoming 5,600 delegates in 2020, with average delegate satisfaction scores of 90%.
