FINANCIAL SERVICES PROVIDERS AND RETAILERS COME OUT ON TOP AT THE 2019 INTERNATIONAL ENGAGE AWARDS: SKY THE MOST SUCCESSFUL INDIVIDUAL WINNER

Organisations from the Financial Services and Retail sectors are big winners at the 2019 International Engage Awards, the only customer and employee engagement Awards programme, organised by Engage Business Media (EBM).

Winners from the FS and Retail sectors include Aviva, Newcastle Building Society, PensionDanmark, Generali Insurance Hungary, Costa Coffee, Just Eat, Co-op and Sky.

Most successful individual organisation this year is Sky picking up two awards, with other winners including BP, Grupo Salinas International, ZSL, Third Light, Pure Planet, NHS, Kent College, and Ordnance Survey.

The coveted new Lifetime Contribution Award deservedly went to Mike Gibney from the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust.

The International Engage Awards winners were announced at a glittering black-tie Awards ceremony at the iconic Westminster Bridge Park Plaza Hotel in Central London on the evening of Monday November 11. The ceremony was hosted by actor and comedian Hugh Dennis, twice Bafta nominee and winner of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Award.

For this year’s competition, now in its fourth year, there were a record number of 179 deserving International Engage Awards finalists across 18 categories selected by our esteemed panel of 20 judges.

The International Engage Awards ceremony ran in tandem with EBM’s flagship 2019 Customer Engagement Summit, firmly established as Europe’s premier Customer and Employee Engagement conference.

Steve Hurst, editorial director at EBM and chair of the International Engage Awards judges says: “Feedback from our judges on what is the only international customer and employee engagement Awards programme is hugely positive, with judges reporting the overall standard of entries at a new record high. The 18 winners we announced today, and indeed all 179 of our Finalists can be justly proud of their achievements.”
