Publisher LADbible Group has introduced fully paid leave for employees who suffer pregnancy loss or are undergoing fertility treatment, as well as offering a workplace nursery benefit so staff can recover tax savings on childcare costs.

The policies will be introduced under the banner LADfamily and will allow those undergoing fertility treatment to take up to five days of paid leave per cycle of treatment, for up to three cycles in total. This is also available to employees supporting a partner going through fertility treatment.

A minimum of 10 days’ paid leave will be offered to help employees cope with pregnancy loss, with paid time off available in order to attend any related medical appointments. An employee whose partner has experienced a pregnancy loss is also eligible for this leave.

Additionally, LADbible Group has launched a partnership with Enjoy Benefits, which provides tax savings on childcare costs. UK and Ireland-based employees who opt in will have guaranteed places and costs will be paid in the form of a salary sacrifice.

Since April 2020, every parent who suffers a stillbirth or the death of a child has the right to two weeks’ paid leave under the Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay Regulations.
