Why Happiness

With the great resignation looming, record levels of burnout, stress and overworked employees around the world, organisations and individuals are all looking to do something different.

The practices of happiness at work, are derived from positive psychology, neuroscience, business and management studies, and are the things that increase positive mental wellbeing in organisations and the things that take organisations from languishing (See Adam Grant, NYT article) to thriving.

Happiness at work is good for individuals, we are healthier, more productive, motivated, successful, better leaders and happier in our external lives. And for organisations; happier employees are more involved, more productive, more cooperative, more creative, and more innovative. They are less likely to call in sick and there is a decreased chance they will experience a burnout.

Happiness at work is about meaningful work, healthy relationships, development, and having fun. And about stopping unnecessary rules, powerplay, complicated processes and procedures,
absenteeism, unmotivated colleagues, and terrible managers.

Our goal is to create a workplace that stimulates fun, appreciation, positive feedback, awesome challenges, trust, meaningful results, deep workplace relationships and our own responsibilities. Let us, as employees, employers, entrepreneurs, organizations, and especially as human beings work together to make happiness at work the norm and not the exception
