FirstSource has won the Outsourcing Center's Outsourcing Excellence Award 2013 for  Best Business Process in partnership with its client giffgaff, a UK mobile telephone service. giffgaff is presenting a case study at the Customer Engagement Network’s Mobile Customer Engagement Directors Forum on May 23 (www.customerengagementnetwork.com)


Giffgaff is acknowledged as a true innovator with its online customer 

service model, supported by a team of 88 Firstsource agents. Giffgaff is 

a pay-as-you-go, SIM only mobile provider, part of the Telefonica group 

and has been a Firstsource client since the giffgaff service first 

launched in 2009.


This is the third time Firstsource has won an Outsourcing Excellence 

Award. Iain Regan, Global Head of Sales & Marketing, Firstsource Solutions, 

said: "The Outsourcing Excellence Award is yet another accolade for our 

outstanding services to our clients which have won a raft of awards in 

recent months including a European Contact Centre and Customer Service 

Award and three National Outsourcing Association Awards.


"We are extremely proud that our partnership with giffgaff has been 

recognised by the Outsourcing Center as an example of best practice in 

global outsourcing. The award recognises the excellent work that we have 

provided for giffgaff which has helped the client to grow rapidly from a
