Exclusive Hotels and Venues Launch Corporate Event Experience at New SEASON Cookery School
Independent luxury country house hotel group Exclusive Hotels and Venues has launched a new team-building, incentive and corporate entertainment experience at their recently launched Cookery School, SEASON.
Located within the impressive 63-acre grounds of Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel near Winchester, Hampshire in a stunning 17th Century Grade II Listed Well House, SEASON features a state-of-art kitchen with six double sided workstations, demo area and an informal private dining room, and offers a range of interactive, educational and entertaining classes designed to challenge teams and build relationships in an inspired new team-building experience for the corporate sector.
The new SEASON cookery school can be hired exclusively for up to 24-guests, and offers a choice of three seven-hour classes, including Italian Cooking, French Classic Cooking or a Feast of the East, under the guidance of expert chefs who then dine with the delegates in a full plot-to-plate interactive learning experience.
Short four hour classes offering tuition in sushi, pasta, burger, bread and cake making – suitable for both the novice and confident home cooks – can proceed or follow an all-new falconry experience at Lainston House as part of a full day’s team building exercise, or be enjoyed as part of an evening of entertainment after a meeting or training exercise in one of the hotel’s eight function suites.
SEASON, the Exclusive Cookery School launched in June 2015, provides full and half day classes delivered by experts in their field including cookery school manager Sylvain Gachot, local visiting chefs and award-winning chefs within the Exclusive kitchens including Olly Rouse, Head Chef at The Avenue, Lainston House (3 AA Rosettes), Richard Davies, Executive Chef at The Bybrook, The Manor House, (1 Michelin Star and 3 AA Rosettes), Head Chef Michael Wignall at The Latymer (2 Michelin Stars and 5 AA Rosettes) and Head Pastry Chef of The Bakery Denis Drame, (Master of Culinary Arts), both at Pennyhill Park.
As part of the SEASON experience, delegates also have the option of a guided tour and ‘pick-your-own Pimm’s’ experience at Lainston House’s kitchen garden located next to SEASON, or to finish the cookery course with a wine tasting or cocktail making class from the hotel’s sommelier and mixologist.
