Cathy (she/her) works with people and organisations to create inclusive, healthy and more productive workplaces that work for everyone.

A renowned leader, speaker and communicator, Cathy blends curiosity and empathy with deep cross-sector experience. She prides herself on helping people move out of stressful situations to create human-focused workplace cultures where compassion and connectedness – and people – are encouraged and valued.
Cathy has led organisations across a range of industries including Engage for Success (the UK’s movement for Employee Engagement), and has helped to transform many more through her work as Capability Brown, and most recently at Management Geek.
Cathy carries her personal experience of neurodivergence into the solutions she co-creates with her clients, through conversations, commitment and curiosity - helping them to manage themselves and their teams in ways that work for everyone.

Paul Deemer

NHS Employers Head of Diversity & Inclusion

Paul has been a HR professional for over 30 years. He has worked in local government, the voluntary sector and the health service, with particular experience in the fields of recruitment, employee relations, employment law and diversity. When working for Barnardo's he took on the role of national equality and diversity manager. After a short spell as a HR lead in an NHS trust, he was seconded into the Department of Health and Social Care's Equality and Diversity Team to help them develop the first national strategy in this area. Paul currently works for NHS Employers, which represents and supports NHS trusts across England, and is helping NHS organisations to embed diversity and inclusion good practice across the NHS. He also works on various diversity working groups and initiatives, with bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative, and writes frequently about all aspects of diversity through various social media channels.

Ciprian Arhire

Ciprian is a seasoned global HR leader with over two decades of experience spearheading transformative change in diverse industries. Recognized as HR’s Most Influential Practitioner in 2022 by HR Magazine, he currently holds the pivotal role of Group Head of People Experience and HR Transformation at Entain Group. This FTSE100 powerhouse, operating in the dynamic realms of sports betting, gaming, and entertainment across 30+ countries, entrusts Ciprian with shaping a forward-looking People Experience Strategy and driving strategic HR transformation programs.
Beyond his corporate endeavours, Ciprian founded the CIPD’s Fellows and Senior People Professionals Network in London, a thriving community dedicated to advancing HR, L&D, and OD strategies, tackling today's pivotal HR challenges. Moreover, Ciprian is a prominent voice in the field, hosting an independent podcast on Leading HR into the Future and contributing to discussions on the evolving nature of work. As a founding member of Hacking HR's Experts Council, he champions the evolution of HR to meet the dynamic needs of modern society.
Armed with a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and Consulting from the University of London, Ciprian is a Chartered Fellow Member of the CIPD. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. On various social media platforms, he advocates for data-driven, digitally powered HR, sharing insights into navigating the ever-evolving workforce landscape. We will explore why traditional, face-to-face coaching could have been inadvertently contributing to the gender gap at work, and how coaching at scale via an app can change that. We will look at data on male and female leadership and ask ourselves why we still see an imbalance at the top of our organisations and institutions. Finally, we will explore Ezra’s data on diversity, equity and inclusion and consider how this informs how we can set up programmes to support minority and/or disadvantaged groups, and give majority groups safe spaces to explore their own relationships with diversity, equity and inclusion.
