The secret to inspiring employees unveiled
Radian Engage is an initiative supporting small and medium-sized private and public organisations such as housebuilders, local authorities and housing associations. It advises how to encourage staff loyalty, build up performance, motivate innovation, and improve customer satisfaction.
A variety of options are offered including collection and analysis of engagement data, recommendations, business plans, and workshops for managers.
Radian wants to pass on the fruits of its experience after independentresearch by ORC International proved the live wire between its own successful employee engagement and business results.
Since 2010, for example, Radian’s staff engagement levels have increased from 58 per cent to 80 per cent; sickness levels have been reduced to three per cent; and staff turnover has decreased from 17 per cent to five per cent.
Radian’s customer satisfaction has also improved, with consumers stating they have increased trust in the organisation. They also believe Radian has a good reputation and that it acts and listens to their views.
Radian’ head of organisational development, Peter Wakefield said: “The crucial thing businesses will notice about Radian Engage is that through nurturing better employee engagement they will also develop much better customer and client relations too.
“It’s made an important and quantifiable difference for us and it can make a difference to other organisations too. Radian Engage is for the private and public sector – it’s about people first and foremost, getting the very best out of them for their careers and their company.
“Better team engagement is a virtuous circle that builds its own momentum to improve an organisation’s spirit and performance. But it has to start somewhere and Radian Engage is that first step.”
Radian Engage is a partnership withLoving Monday, an employee engagement specialist that advises bosses about motivating workers through a better understanding of their significance within their organisation.
