Tim was Chief Learning Officer in Unilever for 6 years until December 2021, and now splits his time between leading the Senior Leadership Development Practice at Unilever, and leadership development, coaching and transformation through Kairon, which he recently started. Tim focuses on how organisations can develop the leadership and culture needed to perform in the complex and disrupted 21st Century. He works with leaders, leadership teams & business and not for profit organisations.
Tim has over 20 years experience in the field, and has been interviewed for multiple publications and podcasts. As an award winning Chief Learning Officer at Unilever, he was responsible for developing the leadership capability to enable ongoing business growth and transformation, and the realisation of Unilever’s purpose. Tim launched Unilever’s own discover your purpose workshops, which over 56,000 Unilever employees have completed, deeply embedding purpose in the culture. Tim was also responsible for the development of Unilever’s approach to leadership in the 21st Century, and for employee wellbeing, areas the company is widely acknowledged as leading edge. Tim has experience of working in the Americas, Europe, UK and globally.
