Martin Kirke

Martin is a Non- Executive Director for the Office of the Independent Adjudicator and a Non- Executive Director at an NHS Trust where he is also Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is Chairman of the Advisory Board for PushFar the career progression company and is owner and founder of Martin Kirke Career Coaching. He is a Mentor with the Prince’s Trust and an International Coaching Federation qualified executive coach. He is a Professional Mentor for the Guild of HR Professionals and the Diversity and Inclusion Adviser for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Martin was Group HR Director at the Post Office reporting to the Chief Executive and a member of the Executive Board. He played a major role in the transformation of the Post Office to a growing and profitable business after 16 years of losses.
Martin has previously held HR Director and Change Director roles at Dow Chemical, Ericsson, Serco Transport and BP including international roles based in Sweden and the USA. At BP he was HR Global Operations Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
He had a key role for the 2012 Olympics in London working at Transport for London as HR Delivery Director. After this he was asked to work for No.10/ Cabinet Office on change programmes.
Martin is a Fellow of the RSA and CIPD and has a first degree in Behavioural Science and a master’s degree in HR Management from Cardiff University
