Joanne Carlin

Jo is a HR ‘lifer’, having spent 30 years in the HR and People function, with at least half of that time operating at Director level.  Her experience spans many sectors including Manufacturing, FMCG, Hospitality and Healthcare, across both UK and Europe. Jo’s passion lies in getting to the heart of the issue and delivering solutions to enable businesses to thrive in a positive way for all employees.  Her key drivers are ensuring this is done is a truly inclusive way, which in turn builds diversity in businesses – and digitisation is a key enabler of this.

Alongside her current position as UK Group HR Director for B Braun, she is also a Non-Executive Director at Lancashire Football Association, having joined the Board in June 2021 and is part of the Steering Committee of DIAL Global – a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing Diversity across organisations.

Regardless of the size of the business, she is passionate about developing people and creating environments which engage and inspire.
