Donna has worked at RSA for three years and is currently the Head of Internal Communications for UK & Western Europe. The RSA team’s vision aims to increase the confidence of a number of 7,000 people at RSA to communicate. This involves shaping and sharing a compelling vision and story for the business, providing a range of creative ways for people to share information and invest in RSA leaders, so they are able to deliver excellent communications.
The last two years have been turbulent at RSA but despite changing times, the company has maintained its position in the Sunday Times Top 25 Big Companies to work for in the 4 years running.
Before joining RSA, Donna worked at Lloyds Banking Group for seven years in a variety of internal communication roles. These included business partnering the Group HR Director during integration between Lloyds TSB and HBOS, managing communications for the harmonisation of Terms and Conditions across the two companies. In a Group role, Donna also led a Group role in the communications for a £2bn Simplification Programme while business partnering the Group Operations Director.
Donna enjoyed working for two organisations that have been going through major transformations – and in her own words thrives on managing in a crisis and introducing cultural change. Donna says: “I love what I do, and believe strongly in the power of excellent internal communications, and our ability to make a fundamental difference to the businesses in which we work.”
