An analytical technology expert with over 15 years’ experience across engineering, renewable energy, IT consulting and international development areas. I strongly believe that when technology is used the right way it can enable people to achieve more and contribute to bettering the world. I also believe that technology isn’t always the right answer, complex problems must be addressed holistically by taking the time to listen to the right people and understand exactly what needs to be solved.
At various times my areas of speciality have included; information management, knowledge management, business intelligence, digital workplace, online collaboration tools, business process optimisation and enterprise architecture.
I have led the design and implementation of many intranets and helmed the introduction of Workplace by Facebook at Save the Children to over 20,000 employees in 100 countries.
As an experienced public speaker, I have presented at events across Europe and America, to audiences of Communications, IT, HR and Knowledge Management professionals.
Currently enthusiastic about using advancements in technology to improve the quality of Save the Children’s work to deliver positive change for Children around the world.
