I lead Talent across all markets outside the USA for McDonald’s. Reporting to the Chief Talent Officer I work to create new international tools to develop Talent, implement new approaches from the centre and share best practices between markets. Working through 11 direct reports located in Canada, the UK, Europe & Australia I lead succession planning, talent review, performance management & culture development along with occasional executive search work. I work closely with CPOs from each market as a thought partner on the wider People agenda and alongside the International Markets CPO. Working principally on staff and executive topics, I also support initiatives for restaurant staff. Highlights include developing an aligned approach to talent management across all markets, implementing a multi-market virtual mentoring scheme and establishing a clear framework for international talent transfers. I represent the Talent COE on the Global People Covid-19 crisis working group.
