Arriva Case Study: Success in an unconventional way
Speaker:
Clare Schaeffer Arriva
Clare recently moved from being SDM of Digital Workplace and Mobility in IT Services to Enterprise Service Manager. She joined Arriva in November 2017 into a role that was created as part of a big IT restructure. As this was a new role, she had rather a lot of scope to own how it grew and develop it. Having this level of freedom and support from management was fantastic and allowed Clare to really delve deep into how improvements could be made. She started with relationship building and popping up in the work lives of people to introduce herself. She learned so much about the industry, the technology and change and engagement culture of not only Arriva, but other companies who she was introduced to at events and in the course of her daily work. How to challenge and improve became rather a big goal for her.
