The company delivers digital projects in the UK for more than 150 customers, including Boots, BT, Diageo, National Grid, Nationwide, NEST, Marks & Spencer, Thames Water and Virgin Atlantic.

“The Top Employers Institute examines the HR practices and offerings that each participating company puts in place for its people, to create and maintain optimal employee conditions. Our in-depth examination concluded that Tata Consultancy Services provides an outstanding employee experience, with high quality initiatives that engage, reward and motivate employees, ensuring that people can develop themselves personally and professionally, and build a rewarding career,” said Eleanor Nickerson, Director of UK Operations for the Top Employers Institute.

This is sixth consecutive year that TCS has certified as one of the UK’s Top Employers. TCS was named Company of the Year at the 2016 Employee Engagement Awards.

Nupur Singh Mallick, HR Director, Tata Consultancy Services UK & Ireland, who is presenting at our Employee Engagement Summit said: “We are delighted to have been awarded the UK’s number one Top Employer for the second year running and are looking forward to building on this progress as we continue to invest in training and development for our staff. As one of the UK’s biggest IT and digital employers, TCS’ priority has always been to create a positive, inspiring environment for its employees, giving them a platform to help them realise their potential and our clients access to a world-class talent pool.”

TCS is one of just 70 employers to receive a Top Employers accreditation, which is based on in-depth research into nine core HR criteria: Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, On-boarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Career & Succession Management, Compensation & Benefits and Company Culture.
